How to Calculate Quantity of Cement Mortar in Plaster?

This is the Basic Formula for How to Calculate the Cement and sand , There has many ratio to calculate the ration. eg , 1:4 /1:6 etc.

According to my Exsample, I show you to how to define the 1:4 Ratio
I have 20 m2 area to Plaster in 15mm thickness.
Lets Try how to Calculate the Cement and sand in 1:4 Ratio.

My Total area Volume is = 20 x 0.015 (15mm)
                                        = 0.3 m3
ratio = 1:4 so the ratio factor is 5
                                       = 0.3/5
                                       = 0.06
Now Multyfy By the ratio Cement = 0.06 x 1
                                                          = 0.06 m3 (one cement bag contain 0.035 m3 cement)

Sand                                                  = 0.06 x 4
                                                          = 0.24 m3
